Even the most detailed and accurate plans and specifications do not necessarily ensure that a project will be constructed properly. CAI believes that effective construction administration is essential to a project, and the attention to detail we provide during construction can save considerable costs during construction and throughout the life of a structure.

The scope of an individual project varies and may include any of the following services:

v Address owner/contractor questions.

v Process/respond to contractor requests for information (RFI).

v Shop Drawing Review

v Review and recommendations on contractors' payment application.

v Coordinate consultant site visits as contracted.

v Coordinate preparation of narratives for construction change directives, proposal requests, etc.

v Review change order requests, determine accuracy of scope and costs.

v Prepare and distribute field reports.

v Maintain record photos to document the projects progress.

v Conduct punch and final walk through. 

v Prepare and issue punch list and substantial completion certificate.
